Speedo Seaside Men's Athletic Water Shoes with Insignia Review

My family does a lot of boating on Mojave Lake, I need water shoes that will keep the pebbles out of the water. Despite their small size, these water shoes are great for protection from sand and pebbles. They work so well I bought a pair for my son in law who tried them on last week and they were the bomb. LAUGH OUT LOUD.

Ideal for water shoes. I wouldn't recommend going to water parks because your feet are wet all day and then your feet hurt from basically having to stand in wet shoes. A few hours in the pool would be great. I've also worn it to the gym in the shower, not the best idea as it's difficult to put on after it gets wet. Therefore, only use it for the pool for a few hours. Excellent grip from below with non-slip grip. As for me, I am happy with this purchase!

I wear US Mens 11.5 (Wide). As far as I can tell they don't come in half or width so I bought 12. They fit great! No problems with delivery, seems to be holding up well. Good buy.

Love the fit (very comfortable), look and feel of a beach shoe that can be used as a casual shoe. The sole is thin so I wear them with socks off the beach. I highly recommend them.

They seemed comfortable but after wearing them for a day my feet hurt a lot. Would come back if I could. Stretching can confuse you. If they feel flexible, they may still be too small.

I use it to play sand volleyball and go to the beach. They fit a bit on my feet but that's to be expected as they don't come in half sizes. They were significantly better than my previous water shoes and have endured a lot more abuse with no issues.

When I received them I replaced the insole with a pair of washable fabrics and started wearing them with implied socks. I've been wearing them like this for two summers and they're still being worn. I wear them to work and walk several kilometers a week on concrete. The soles are definitely worn out, but these things have held up shockingly well. I love walking on grass and mulching it because I can feel the surface of everything I walk on.

Bought these for my fiance as he loves to fish in choppy waters. It was perfect! I even wear them. Well, if you don't like stepping on seaweed in the lake!

I bought them to carry on a small ship while traveling to the Antarctic Peninsula. They were comfortable to wear and I have worn them home on long flights but have not used them for long outings. They worked well on a wet deck during a storm and I felt completely safe in them. Another advantage was the easy on and off.

Great water shoes. I use them every morning for pool practice and so far I love them and they hold the bottom of the pool very well.

Very persistent on a wet sailboat deck. Very little cushioning when walking on hard surfaces. Slightly more supportive than water shoes/socks but definitely not true sailing shoes. The sizing runs a bit big, especially when it gets wet.

I bought them for my boyfriend, he said they are very comfortable and actually look like shoes. Good for beach walks. Thanks for attention.

Great lightweight shoe to prevent slipping on wet surfaces. Comfortable and light, like barefoot but on the sole. I use it for sailing and it fits great. Very good value for money.

I usually like Speedo branded stuff and I used to have Speedo water shoes. It feels too flimsy and cheap to me. I do not recommend.

I was looking for an earlier version of this style but found it unavailable. I finally bought it and I'm glad I did because it's even better! Fits well. I was able to wear it after walking quite a distance to some bodies of water while on vacation. They did well on the hike and in tide pools.

I use this water shoe for water exercises. It can be used for walking on hot cobblestones near outdoor pools, but lacks arch support and offers little cushioning.

These are great looking shoes that unfortunately gave me blisters. The rubber sole dug into my feet. Otherwise they look great and dry quickly.

Looks good. I got blue. The problem is that the arch area is not smooth. The fit on the inside of the shoe at the arch is baggy and will slide over you and rub as you walk. It's a deal breaker if you can't iron it out somehow. Another reviewer has a photo of his arch and shows damage to the foot. I have a similar injury with this water boot. The bottom of the shoe is rubber, not foam, so that's a good thing.

The size was as expected for a mens 12, he was able to walk along an extremely rocky beach in the Bahamas that we couldn't do without.

DO NOT BUY THESE SHOES! Should be minus five stars. Read the many reviews on how good these shoes are for water, sand and hiking. After wearing them once on the beach and hiking trail (less than half a mile) I developed very painful blisters on both arches of my feet - see photos. I threw them in the trash.
