I like the light itself. However, the universal mounts were terrible. They didn't work with the 2009 Silverado. After the first brace broke, I called for a replacement. They wanted me to pay $50 for a replacement universal mount because they didn't have one for my truck. The metal the brackets were made of was very weak. I made my own light mounts in my truck and all is good now. At night, the dashboard glare is very bad. Using weatherproof glue solved this problem.

I had a cheaper visor kit similar to this but much better quality. Universal mounts are a joke and they don't have instructions for use. Special car mounts add another $50 to the cost of these lights. Even another universal set will set you back $50 if you mess up the originals by trying to mod them. Will update as soon as I find a way to install it on my 2020 Ram, but for the money they should be a heck of a lot better than the $80 I had before.

I am a fire chief and this light bar is installed in my private car. It's very bright and moves traffic very well (that is, without looking at your phones!). Lots of flash templates. The mounts have been slightly modified but work. I wish they had some sort of rubber pad to attach to the windshield to help with the reminders. I used black tape to solve this problem. You cannot expect a perfect fit unless they are model specific as every car has a different windshield curvature.

Universal mounts didn't fit well on my 2016 Dodge Charger. So I spent an additional $50 on charging mounts plus at least $20 shipping. The screw holes turned out to be too small but they came with some new screws which are tiny. And none of them came with installation instructions. I found a YouTube video that helped with the universal mounts, but nothing helped with the charging mounts. But great lights. Normal patterns, good brightness.
