I am very upset with how much I paid for this. The only reason I didn't return it was because my son was dying to keep it for his truck. We ended up having to buy a mount to hold it in place and even that doesn't work very well. .

This is what I was looking for. However, this applies to smaller vehicles. I bought it for my dad's 1996 F150 and added a blue F. Fast Knob. The only problem is that trucks have a bigger wave. I ended up drilling the main hole and had to use a big drill bit and spray WD40 on it. At least it works. Looks better than the old tape switch.

I just installed it on my 13 year old Jeep JK. If you've ever had a Christmas tree stand that had to be screwed in at 3 angles, having the tree stand straight is just perfect, here's how it works. It seems to be getting tight now, not sure if it will stay that way. It doesn't sit as deep as I'd like so I added vinyl to the stem (hehe) to compensate for what was now visible.

I've had a lot of trouble keeping this thing locked in my 03 a4, tried loctite etc but even then 3-4 casts came loose after about a week. I ended up using a two part solid epoxy and potting the inside of this adapter, then placed it on top of the shift knob with a piece of cardboard underneath to prevent movement and then tightened the screws as tight as I could. Let it set overnight and I haven't had any issues or complaints with my shifter since using a 450 gram Blox shift knob.
