Sperry Mens Bahama Boat Shoe Review

These shoes fit my husband perfectly in size 11.5. They also offer excellent grip thanks to a very comfortable sole. My husband tends to walk on the inside of his foot, has had 7 knee surgeries and has virtually no arch. Finding shoes for him is not an easy task. Not only are these shoes stylish, they offer great support and limit impact (especially as these are dress/casual shoes). Good workmanship. The color corresponds to the photo. I had 2 pairs, one black and one white. They have different outsole materials. Black is good to wear all day. The white felt inside is made of plastic and feels like hot sand. Washed and rubbed lightly with soapy water, it got better. There may be a cover. Also, they are very nice and comfortable, adorable boat shoes and look great. In perfect condition and received in 2 weeks thanks to fast shipping.

Nice shoes. The color is bright and stands out well. I got lots of compliments on her. I live in South Florida so pumps are a very common practice year round. Don't expect as much support as in today's running shoes. The fit and comfort are very similar to Chuck Taylor canvas sneakers if you understand my reference. Very good shoes for running and everyday wear. Meets my expectations as I expect a good everyday shoe and not a high performance sneaker.

This shoe didn't live up to expectations in terms of cushioning, particularly in the heel area. When I put them on for the first time, I felt my weight back in my heel - it was impossible. Rather than sending them back as I was on a trip, I added a pair of half length heel gels to straighten the stance and then another full length interior padding. After all, these are great shoes, but for a company that prides themselves on comfort, I felt they needed to go down this route.

Shoes are light, comfortable and inexpensive. I first discovered Sperry shoes in 2010. Once I bought a pair, I almost immediately bought another pair. When I bought them I was looking for lightweight tennis shoes. But when I saw Sperry again, I immediately dismissed the idea of tennis shoes and bought them. Fit great and feel great.
