Sperry Men's Striper Sneaker: Fashionable & Comfortable Medium Men's Shoes Review

The sole is very thin and the insole is squeaky and soft. The very poor support in this shoe resulted in severe foot pain, mainly left foot plantar fasciitis. The soles are so different from the halyards I also own that I have my doubts that I received a genuine product. I find it hard to believe that Sperry could get away with selling such flimsy, squeaky shoes in a retail store.

The length of the shoe is quite accurate I wear a size 10, ordered a size 10 and it fits well except for the width. The width of the shoe is too wide, which made it very easy to fold when walking. I don't think I would order this particular style again. I bought the Sperry Bahama II boat shoes in white and the style went very well with the boat shoes, the width was perfect for me. Not impressed with this style and fit.

They are beautiful. I'm wearing them right now. The word to the manufacturer is "Lose your leather laces". (Although they deserve them. I mean, they're incredibly strong and the laces just bothered me; they made it difficult to tie them up. Once I got rid of them and put on regular laces - they were amazing! (I'm not gay - I'm just talking like that! ;];]

I received the shoes in chinos and the photos clearly show that they should be nice chinos with a carefully balanced shade of green and purple. Shoes in real life have a conspicuous green cast and that is completely repulsive. If the photos were more accurate I would not have bought these shoes. It's so striking. I've had these shoes for about 5 months now and they're holding up really well so far. Although depending on the ground surface it has no traction at all. I've played soccer on grass in these shoes and they hold up pretty well. Now I've put them to the test, rain, wet soil and extreme use. For example running, jumping and kicking a soccer ball. Agree with some comments about the shoe being too heavy. On the contrary, they are much lighter than the original Striper CVO shoes I previously bought. I just got them so time will tell how durable they are. I've never been a big fan of pumps, but I need something trendy, casual to wear with shorts in the summer. The leather laces make it a great alternative to a casual dress. I may even have to buy a second pair in the Navy! Great looking shoes.

They fit and feel great. I was concerned that these shoes would be too narrow and/or the arch too flat, but they worked well. I've always preferred Vans, but I've found that Vans tend to get sore feet as they age. These shoes were my first attempt at replacing my Vans and I am very happy with the results. I get the look of canvas sneakers with shoes that fit my feet well and don't hurt after hours of walking.

These shoes might fit but the quality is TERRIBLE. My husband had them for less than a week and the laces snapped and the shoes started falling apart completely. He works in an office, but the way they fell apart, you'd think he'd try to run a marathon in these shoes. I seriously wonder if this is Sperry's fake.
