I've seen this bit in a lot of videos so I had to pick it up myself to try it out. I don't usually have a problem with lifting when making acrylics, but I can see how it can be useful for those with really stubborn cuticles. I use a medium sanding belt to remove dead nails and add shine to them. This order came ahead of schedule which is a plus! Nice cuticle brush, a bit short for my taste but works. Tip: put it in your e-file and run the beat on a flat buffer to get some edge. It will be much safer to use.
