fits my 2002 Ram 1500 front driveshaft

Dana/spicer products always top notch! --- Easily pressed into my gimbal with a ball joint press I bought from Revain, I highly recommend this tool as well. I don't know how I lived all these years without this thing! and for only $45 I was a fool not to buy it a year ago.

Experience required

I highly recommend having experience if doing it yourself. I've made hundreds of universal joints as a professional diesel mechanic, but this gave me some trouble as the cap grease was old and couldn't hold the needle bearings in place. That being said, you won't be disappointed. There were ones for the rear driveshaft and one for the front. The job was done in 4 hours on my 2004 Ford Explorer XLT 4.0L 4WD.

Exact fit for 2005 Tundra Access Cab SR5 2WD

I bought these to replace the original U-joints in my 2005 Tundra which was starting to vibrate after 15 years. I chose them because I wanted to be able to add fat to the gimbal. The original universal joints were sealed and had no oiler. I've tried removing the original U-joints with a nut and hammer but to no avail. I had to rent a gimbal press from a local parts store. Looks like it will fit, correct cap diameter and overall length and width. The computer says it fits (also Autozone). But if you look really closely, the case where it enters the lid is slightly raised compared to the Duralast variant (which *really* fits). This housing means that after pulling the old U-joint and removing the caps from the new Spicer you will find that you need about 3mm more to tilt it into the traverse. I took the fork to Autozone and asked them to bring 4 U-joints which the

Quality U-pieces for my expedition

I was excited for the arrival of my Spicer U-pieces. I searched a lot to find the best quality at the best price and this was the answer to my search. Hearing that crunching noise as I pulled onto the highway, turned around and prayed they would stay together until these new ones arrived, I have to say I was thrilled when they showed up four days earlier than the first time.
