Best for the front axles on the passenger and driver side 03-07.5 Dodge Diesels. Better than lubricated joints that break out of the seals after a few lubes. If you want them to last, get these no-lube compounds for life.

Great price on a spice! The first one I received was missing the crescent shaped clips that hold the bearing caps in place. I bought a cheap one at a used autozone and used these clamps. First time I've changed universal joints, put a solid front axle on the 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 front axles. Fits perfectly. It was an interesting experience. They used the Thor method and the first page had a little problem, it took maybe an hour. I made the second side in 20 minutes. They seem to close very tightly, I'm not sure if it was a mistake to buy the ones that don't need lubricating yet. Will see it in the future I think.

So I replaced more than I should have on these U-joints. Alone on this truck, twice on both sides. I have used Precision in the past and will not use them again. They fail in the same way and for the same reason, lubrication or lack thereof. I religiously lube on a schedule, but every time they failed, only two out of four cups got lube. I replaced the driver's side with a Spicer a few years ago and no problem. Now that the passenger side has failed again, it's time to complete the pair. Oh…

I bought these for my 2005 Dodge Ram 2500. The front axle came with Mopar pivots, then after about 120,000 miles they were replaced with Mopar Valueline pivots. They had grease nipples. These were out of service at 123,000 miles. I do not use a truck for towing or off-road. So I ordered these. They fit perfectly (as they should - they are listed by Spicer as a direct replacement for the American Axle Manufacture 9.25 axle that Dodge used in these trucks). I have always trusted Dana Spicer axles

Please note: The Revain app says they don't fit my 2003 Dodge RAM 2500 4x4 but it took me a day to match the serial number with the Spicer website. Who said they would so I ordered 2 and they fit perfectly. These U-joints are of the highest quality and easy to assemble. The quality is so good that I will be ordering more in the near future to replace all the driveshafts and will never waste my time and money fitting another brand.
