When I opened the sealed box, I found that the top of the blue pen was not attached and the pen was dry and unusable. I contacted customer service (in hoping they would replace the stylus) and the rep told me to contact Hasbro and then ended the chat session. I have contacted Hasbro but have not received a response yet. But substandard customer service always dampens my enthusiasm.

Great gift for drawing

Bought a few of these as gifts for my homeowner's grandkids this year. This is a classic toy that encourages creativity and develops thinking. I like this as a gift because it won't break the bank and has for years. I had a spirograph as a kid (I'm 60) and my son had it as a kid. I figured if this has been around for so long then it must be a good thing. In addition, the body is made of aluminum and is durable. I thought it would be a good gift. I regret not having purchased an additional one…

Pros
  • Sample for a year
Cons
  • Don't really like it, everything is fine

Happy little. I want more. Good quality. Come in a beautiful tin can.

Bought this for the kids because I remembered having one when I was a kid. This is excellent quality. Comes in a nice tin. 4 stars because it's smaller than I expected/wanted. I was hoping for a bigger circle so my younger kids could do better. But still very nice. Comes with sticky powder to hold the main parts in place. It's cool and works well on thin paper too. A nostalgic treat that is well worth it. In the photo with the lid open, I took everything out of the inner plastic sleeve to allow

The perfect gift that fits in a shoe box.

I ordered these Spirograph glasses as Christmas gifts. These are special gifts that are placed in a charity shoe box and sent to a child who might not otherwise receive gifts. Sometimes it can be difficult to find smaller gifts, which are almost always loved by children aged 8-10 and older. Also, these items must survive being sent to hell knows where in the world. I like that the instructions are illustrated and that it is self-contained, pens and paper are included. The beautiful tin is…

Good travel activity, Spigraph will be there forever.

This is a timeless classic. My parents, I and my older children already had a spirograph. This time I bought my last and youngest daughter. She's 7 years old, a little under the recommended age, but it took her quite a while to get the gist. Now, with practice, I've created some very cool designs. My husband and I drew art on it ourselves. Brings back beautiful childhood memories. I've spent many hours making art over and over again and had so much fun doing it. It comes in a small tin which is

Patience is the key. suitable for art kits

I saw in reviews that putty was a problem but I ordered the kit anyway. Putty, as you read, is hard as a rock. But. But, but, but. As you work with it, it becomes less hard and more pliable. Also, you do NOT need a ton of it to attach the ring to the paper. If you can edit a small piece to the point where it softens, don't overdo the anchor points. It is enough just to connect it with paper so that the ring stays in place. An alternative to the putty that comes with the kit might be something…
