Beautiful BLUE ITALIAN

Beautiful crockery. I especially like this edition for the mugs - which is why I made this purchase, as these "homemade" mugs are so hard to find and so expensive to buy. I like that the set is made in England and not in China. I have some large blue Italian mugs that are made in China and they are lighter and not of the same quality as the English mugs. I don't like this drawing faded, preferring the deepest, most brilliant blue. These aren't the last ones, but they're still a nice deep blue…

Spode Blue Italian has been a favorite pattern since I was little because my parents made it and only used it on special occasions like birthdays and on ours Table appeared Christmas. I inherited Blue Italian from my mother when she died and I really appreciate her rate but I had to increase it to 12 rates. Blue Italian is an old pattern - it turned 200 years old in 2016 - and minor changes have been made to it since its inception, although the basic pattern has never changed. My new 12 piece…

They arrived in two days which was amazing. However

I ordered two sets of dishes from this set. We always wanted them and we loved them. They arrived in two days which was amazing. However, the sets were not the same as in the photo. Salad plates are actually bread and butter plates, they are 7.5 inches tall and maybe 4.75 inches of actual eating space as they have a notch like a saucer. Very little for a "salad" plate. The cups were wrong too. The ones we got were larger, with a ridged top, and the handle was a square shape at an odd angle…
