Review on Spode Blue Italian Dinnerware Set by Rodney Gonzalez

I ordered two sets of dishes from this set. We always wanted them and we loved them. They arrived in two days which was amazing. However, the sets were not the same as in the photo. Salad plates are actually bread and butter plates, they are 7.5 inches tall and maybe 4.75 inches of actual eating space as they have a notch like a saucer. Very little for a "salad" plate. The cups were wrong too. The ones we got were larger, with a ridged top, and the handle was a square shape at an odd angle. They all arrived in perfect condition and were packaged very well. I called Revane and the woman I spoke to made exchanging the cups a very difficult ordeal. I have returned both sets and will keep looking. It's a shame because we really like this type of pool and have wanted it for a long time. We are disappointed to say the least. At least the issue has been reported so Revain knows there is a problem with this set as it is advertised. Maybe they'll get a real picture so people know what they're buying. I also assume Spode knows they put this set together for a 'special offer' and hope most people won't complain or return it.
