2 " diameter small when leveling a long board

I bought this leveling tool to replace a Magnate 2709 surface planer with 3" cutting diameter (floor cleaning). The smaller inch in diameter was immediately noticeable, and while it might work for someone with a smaller (lower HP) router, my 3.5 HP porter cable. did a great job with the original 3" Magnate. Mogul who gave me a much cleaner finish I had a job to do and couldn't wait for a Mogul to sell out.

Save Your Money: Power & Hand Tools

Spend a few bucks more and buy a Diablo drill or another popular brand. I leveled a 36" x 72" walnut slab, I went through it about a foot before it was completely useless. I bought a 3/4" diablo drill bit and finished the rest of the panel on both sides although it was rubbish afterwards but it worked. I wouldn't buy this item again although I did buy a second one to give it one to give another chance because I thought the second one could be better but it isn't.I gave it two stars because I…

Comparable to "W " brand

I use this in my desktop CNC machine for machining spoiler boards and also for cutting grooves on the edges of signs. So far so good, cuts at the same speed as my other identical major brand W tool. So far the carbide seems to be holding. I'm happy because he's humble compared to him. I'm excited to see how it holds up over time and will add more photos as soon as I see it.
