Amazing for active toddlers!

Bought for our two quarter year old and he took root right away. The material is REALLY durable (parents love to play with it too!) but won't scratch our hardwood floors. Next time we want to take it to the snow of course. It looks like it would be a great item for winter indoor play and will provide the little fella with a great balance workout and core strengthening. Also a bonus - he loves to flip it and drive his trucks "over the bridge".

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • No instructions

Grandma got a hit

I got this for my 4 year old grandson in June. Then his 6 year old sister wanted one so I bought one for her and one for my 1.5 year old granddaughter. They all love them and play creatively with them. My daughter is happy because it only has ONE piece, they stack and they can all do the same thing at the same time. Fighting is forbidden! My daughter uses one to "strengthen her core". don't ask me how I read reviews that said kids love these and they were right. Thanks to the reviewers!

but it's a good toy as long as he keeps practicing and getting.

I got this for my 3 year old last Christmas and he's still playing with it almost a year later. Now he likes to spin but it's a good toy and if he keeps practicing and getting comfortable he can do more difficult tricks as he gets older. It has many fun uses, both inside and out. Spooner has great promo videos showing the types of tricks he can do. I didn't show my 3 year old a video last year and I don't even know, but I can come up with more age appropriate ideas as he gets older.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Negative impression

The Freestyle Spoon is shaped more like a real spoon than a Pro Spoon which is slightly longer. The freestyle feels really solid, maybe even with less recoil than the pros, but as an adult I prefer to spin the pros. Glad we have freestyle for our youngest child (2 year old) and plus points for older children (9 and 11). I was thrilled that our green Freestyle came with custom grips instead of the plain black ones as pictured. Ours shows a wave with a turtle swimming beneath it. They are very…
