Size not suitable for climbing

Ordered these shoes twice as the first pair didn't fit. But luckily I found out the size. I ordered 7 and received 6 US. European size is correctly 7 US which was 38 EU. Whatever size you order, all US knows is that it will most likely be a size down. I'm not sure which is correct, EU size or US size. However, please note that the size chart and what you receive may be missing. The shoes I ordered now fit well but it was difficult to find the right size.

Watch out for product issues if sold through "ClimbingShoes ".

WARNING - If "ClimbingShoes" fulfills the order - The rubber sole material fell apart on my first order I returned them. I bought it and then they sent me the wrong shoe. I have a tarantula (welco) and no tarantula (shoelace). I will be back and will not buy a third time due to the quality and poor order fulfillment. I agree with the other reviews on the size. If you are a beginner, order full size shoes instead of the standard US shoe size.

Cons
  • Requires a power outlet

Great shoes for beginners

Great shoes for beginners! However, after a few months of use, I felt like I should have bought a better shoe. The lower rubber outsole is quite thick so you don't blow through the toe too quickly, but I mostly didn't trust my feel on the small, thick-soled lugs. I would also recommend shoes for beginners rather than climbing. Size - they stretch a little. I am size 7-7.5 and should have ordered size 37.5 instead of 38. Initially, 37.5 seemed too tight, but with stretch it would be more ideal…
