They were too long for my son's feet but also too narrow. The front straps are sewn/joined further from the outer edge of the boot. That probably helps with durability but makes them too tight for him. Unfortunately I am sending them back. My son is growing out of a size 2, so we ordered a size 3 ("35" says the shoe. Not 3.5, but 35). They may work better for regular width feet. They just didn't work for us.

So I ordered my two boys the size they normally wear and in one case the wrong size was sent and in the other case the right size but too small. it didn't cost me anything anyway and these shoes are awesome. i am picky They have a very flexible sole and good grip, as well as the ability to properly secure the shoe on a normal/slightly thin foot. difficult. That is exactly what is needed.

Well I wrote a nice long review and then I took a picture of it and Amazon removed the whole thing because of some advert on their site saying they would no longer sell gift cards. Despite my annoyance I will try to summarize as it is not the fault of the shoes that the website deleted everything. Larger than expected but the straps make it easy to adjust and won't cause blisters. My son loves them, they came here quickly after ordering. Since we got them he has been playing with water and bark
