Shoelaces are excellent, the best in sport

Sticks and does not come loose. Wax is the only way out. Strong laces. 120 inches is the standard adult skate size. Good width is so strong. I have about 100 games from the last set.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Everything ok

Keep your skates tied! in Team Sports

These waxed laces are great for helping young skaters tie their own skates. The wax helps keep the laces in place, which is a plus. However, for those who ride outdoors, I wouldn't recommend double knotting waxed laces as untying them in the cold is a real bear.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Questionable Purchase for Seniors

REAL COATING for skateboard accessories

I had to deal with wax laces in my time and they were completely dipped in a candle, sprayed, dried, covered in hot wax and then placed in the wax room with their wax friends. Then they spray more wax on it before packing. Then grow again, and then lace will be obtained. Leaves wax on hands for a long time. But whatever you wipe it on your hockey pants is fine.

Pros
  • Hands free controls
Cons
  • ill thought out

Better waxed laces than others

So I try many different laces to find the best one for my child. I like the waxy version because they stay tight once laced up. However, this complicates the process of lacing for children. Some wax laces are too waxy, making the laces very stiff. But I eventually found these AR laces to be the best because they are not as waxy as the Elite Hockey brand and more importantly they are the right size. These 120" laces were 120. Another brand was 12" longer.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Long delivery time

A waxed tip for the price of two?

If the laces were evenly waxed, 5 stars could be given. Outside of the packaging, the two laces were noticeably different colors due to the different waxing. Fully waxed laces are great - easy to work with, hold up well in the boot when tightened and knotted, won't loosen with use - *exactly* what I expect from waxed laces (5 stars for these laces: perfect!), others have almost no wax, and there are performance, grip, and safety issues that I wanted to eliminate by switching to waxed ones.

Pros
  • Simple design
Cons
  • Hard to say

Best waxed laces for the money

I've been playing hockey for 20 years and only got to know waxed laces 4 years ago. This is my second time buying a&r waxed laces and they have worked well both times. I have 3 games with this pair and they hold my skates in place during games. They last much longer than traditional laces because they don't absorb water, which accelerates wear. I also haven't had any major issues with those laces giving me a lace bite. Overall I would say this is the best value for money when it comes to waxed…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No machine

Order one size up: Hockey

I wish your description was correct. I have CCM 6052 adult size 9.5 tacks and the 120" laces barely reach the top eyelets leaving about 3" of lace to try and tie (can't tie). The description says the laces in this size should fit a skate size 11.5 which is rubbish. The last pair of laces I measured and they weren't 120 inches, they came out about 110 inches. I think they would probably fit if they were really 120" (I ordered a second pair hoping it was a fluke, the second set didn't fit either,

Pros
  • It's OK!
Cons
  • Dear
