It definitely looks better than the traditional spiked collar. I can't say it works any better either. But she stops pulling when I correct her and say a word. My only complaint is that it leaves a dark mark on her neck. I shoot when we get home, so 1-3 hours at most while we're outside. I find it a bit expensive but I will keep using it just because it looks better than the traditional one.

Really wanted one of these with a clasp but they either won't be available in the US or they take a long time to ship here. Too long to train my exuberant GSD pup. To remove the segments, you need to bend them with a tool. Using the prong on my large dog hurts a bit. I ended up leaving the links slightly elevated and the collar still works well.
