These screws worked great.

I originally bought 1-1/4" screws but when I used them to join 3/4" plywood to 3/4" plywood joinery, The tips of the screws kept breaking off These screws worked great.

Cons

Great addition to the Kreg Pocket Hole Jig System

These screws work as advertised and provide a strong joint between two pieces of wood. This special screw is used to connect two pieces of hardwood; When connecting softwoods such as pine, fir, etc., be sure to purchase screws that are suitable for the purpose. Buying in bulk will save you money.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Not Bad

Good for Fastening Accessories

Screws are used to pull 2 pieces of wood together to form a solid edge. Works well with the Kreg tool and saves a lot of time as you don't have to use glue and wait for it to set. Visit the Kreg Tool page to learn how to select the correct screw length as this is not an exact science; it will save you a headache in the long run.

Pros
  • Tools and Household Items
Cons
  • Something Else

Kreg's Pocket Screws - 5 Stars

I use Kregs a lot. I have several including "The Brigadier". The price of these screws was decent and the product speaks for itself. I claim the same for all Kreg products I buy from Revain. I use "thin" screws for alder, poplar, oak, etc. I've even used thin screws to connect the beveled corners of pine (picture frames).

Pros
  • Power and Hand Tools
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

These screws are great! Instead of using them as regular countersunk screws to attach two pieces of wood together, I needed a few screws to attach a metal strap to a wine barrel that I'm turning into a bar. These screws were ideal as they were made for hardwood (fine pitch thread) and also with a flat head as a built in washer. These screws actually blended into the natural look of the barrels without standing out too much. At around 3.5 cents per screw for a 500 lot, they are very affordable.

Pros
  • Clamping accessories
Cons
  • No instructions
