Does not reset properly

This switch will not turn on if the water pressure drops to zero due to a leak or repair. I had to manually force it to power the pump until there was some pressure in the line, after which it started working. A careful inspection also revealed that the electrical contact points were badly damaged as well. Apparently very badly done. Wouldn't recommend it.

Low Pressure Cutoff

The low pressure cutoff provides some protection if the supply dries up. I'm saying something since the supply is just starting to fluctuate, if there is no leakage you can catch the pump running between on and off (50psi). Heat causes plastics near the pump to soften, lose strength, and fail. By instructing users to look out for the first sign of bubbles in the water and change tanks, you save money and downtime.
