St James London Sandalwood Bergamot Review

After reading the reviews I decided to risk it and bought it for my husband. Since I like both flavors, it sounded like it would work. We were both disappointed as there is no hint of sandalwood or bergamot in the scent and the scent dissipates within minutes.

Bought for my husband. I was specifically looking for a scent with bergamot and sandalwood. Cologne is tricky because at times it's so overwhelming that it puts me off or gives me a headache. This one is thin and makes me lean in closer to smell it.

WOW. I just received it and I REALLY loved the sophisticated scent. I could use it for a formal occasion. But also as a daily cologne with jeans and a cotton shirt. It's not overly syrupy and "sweet" like many men's fragrances can be. It has the right notes and bergamot and sandalwood are a classic combination. 5 STARS

First of all, I'm a woman and this beautiful sandalwood and bergamot perfume has become my signature scent. For me, this fragrance is not "male". It simply smells of freshness and purity (bergamot) and warm spice (sandalwood). It's a very intriguing scent and I get compliments on it. I like that it's light and doesn't lead me into the room but just surrounds me attractively. I spray it on my wrists and one of those little cotton swabs I put under my underwear. *Hm*

This eau de cologne is incredibly seductive. It lasts most of the day and I can stay close to my man and breathe him in forever. It's not strong or cute, just so masculine! ... and beautifully intoxicating.

I originally found this cologne at a men's haberdashery in New Orleans. It's woody, slightly musky, perfect for fall. Like most colognes, it stays strong and fades over time, but I found this one to linger easily throughout the day.

The smell is quite pleasant, but I don't really smell sandalwood. Bergamot should really change everything. It's almost like a soapy smell. If you really like sandalwood I would skip this one
