Perfect support when playing volleyball

My daughter uses this when she plays volleyball. This is perfect for her. She loves them because they offer more support than store-bought braces. Very durable.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Update available

cozy. Easy to put on

A year and a half ago I broke my ankle, had surgery on both sides, a plate and 9 screws. Tried to walk and felt very wobbly even on level ground. I was mentally scared that if it twisted I would break it again. This bracelet is a godsend. Safe, comfortable. Easy to put on. Spent half an hour on the treadmill and never felt uncomfortable.

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for support and durability
Cons
  • I don't really like anything, everything is fine

Quality and comfort

Bought for my daughter to play volleyball. This is the second set we bought and she was happy with the original set so we bought another one. In terms of durability, we got a full year off the original pair and what wore out was the velcro. They don't seem to restrict movement much and we haven't had any ankle problems so far. Keep in mind that these orthotics are designed to prevent ankle injuries, not to support the ankle after an injury.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Not sure

Wasn't expecting much, but now I don't want to be without it!

I wasn't expecting much when I ordered this. I broke a bone in my leg and badly sprained my ankle. This allowed me to return to hiking after 4 weeks. In the last few months I have had 3 instances where I have re-injured my ankle when not wearing this brace. I've done 10-12 mile hikes and this brace fits perfectly. I didn't think it could be comfortable, but it is. I am very happy with the purchase. It's worth its weight in gold.

Love love love this bandage

Love love love this bandage! I was able to play volleyball again just 3 weeks after spraining my ankle. A lot of support is provided and I can still move and jump as usual. It takes a little longer than putting the t2 on, but the extra support it gives my weak ankle over this brace is worth it. It's also quite wide in the insole of my shoes, but I still plan on always wearing this bandage with my volleyball shoes, so stretching the shoe isn't an issue for me.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

Needs work on medical supplies and equipment

As a reversible product, there is no room for the inner ankle. Both pivot bearings are parallel and not V-shaped. The small size doesn't have room for my foot as the pivot points are too close together (I wear size 6 women's shoes and I'm quite skinny). The website should list the measurements for this brace, not just a shoe size chart. I might have liked a different size of these braces if I had the measurements. I'm trying to return this product as I've already purchased a Bledsoe Swivel…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Bigger Than Volt

I have bought The Eclipse II, Volt and DonJoy Bionic. They all seemed to be really well made products. I ordered a small Eclipse II and it was too tall for my foot. It put pressure on my ankle. If I was 1/4 inch taller to the end of the stirrup, that would probably be perfect. I have a very small stature. The Volt fits well but the stirrup is uncomfortable. I didn't even have time to take a step in it as the bottom strap broke on the first tug.

Pros
  • Innovative multi-point harness system optimizes support by applying compression to the entire brace to allow movement during recovery from an ankle sprain.
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Exactly what I was looking for! Stability from side to side but still able to flex and place the foot. I've had chronic ankle problems my whole life. I have every type of ankle brace on the market. This one is different. I love trail running but my ankles are not stable enough, I twist my ankles easily. With this brace I can walk without worrying about twisting my ankles. I use them for running, hiking, HIIT, CrossFit. I build confidence and strength in my ankles by supporting them. The only…

Pros
  • Molded EVA liner with integrated ventilation channels conforms to the shape of the ankle and prevents overheating
Cons
  • Quick Guide

Tried all common ankle braces. No one is perfect and it might be worth having several due to the different characteristics. This ankle brace (Eclipse 2) is by far the best ankle protection. There is no other brace that is as reliable for ankle sprains. The Zamst comes close, but not as well, and the ASO bandage certainly adds a lot of stretch protection, noticeably less protection, especially after a long run when it loosens up a bit. The main issue with this is comfort, as the rigid side…

Pros
  • Reversible articulation allows unlimited forward/backward and vertical mobility, making this ankle brace the best for volleyball, football (OLD, DL, LB, TE) and baseball. Player
Cons
  • Crumpled
