I love the color gradients. This makes it easier to bring the images to life with shading. They flow easily and the thickness is good. The numbers correspond to the smaller Stabilo .4 buttons. Great pens from a trusted brand. One of them is a little dry but the others are fine. I love that they give you two blacks and two reds. The glass is nice but I hate cheap plastic inserts! Businesses should come up with another packaging solution because those plastic inserts are terrible. Pens fall over everywhere! Also, I'm very happy with them. While not quite a liner and not quite a standard marker tip I don't know how to classify them but they are perfect! is so much fun!

I bought these pens in addition to the Staedtler Fineliner pens. Stabilo pens have a wider tip than Staedtler and are therefore excellent for filling or coloring large areas. Staedtler are great for outlining and tight spots. I love that the color number is printed on the side of each Stabilo pen. These pens are amazing. I've been using the same set of 50s since Christmas 2018 and only had to buy replacements for the colors I use as background colors.
