If you love the 88s, you'll love these.

I have Stabilo 88 and I like it very much. But superfine dots make painting large areas tedious. So I had to get these. I got almost all the same colors in the 68s as in the 88s, except maybe 2-3 colors. Painting large areas is MUCH EASIER! I like to switch between sets and know that the colors match exactly. I use them for coloring but they are definitely good enough for other projects.

Pros
  • understandable even for old people
Cons

Great marker set.

I first bought this and the 88 nib which has a much finer point... I haven't had the opportunity to actually use them, just because I haven't had much opportunity however, last week we were Visiting our daughter and grandchildren and my 8 year old granddaughter absolutely loves these .68 pens and since she wanted something creative for Christmas I already have a '31' bag full of crayons and coloring books which I gave her as an early Christmas present . This was great for them as they were not…

Pros
  • Permanent marker
Cons
  • Only available in black

Nice color but a little disappointed.

Love it. The colors are nice and the pen design is nice and looks high quality. Unfortunately they show through a bit in my Posh coloring book. So I can see colors from the other side of the page. I don't like to paint with crayons as I have tendinitis in my hand and it takes more effort to get the deep colors I like and it hurts my hand after a while making it difficult to paint. I also want to buy more flowers. The pack says 46 colors are available but this pack only comes with 30 and 6 of…

An amateur artist in stationery and correction supplies

I bought these immediately after purchasing the 30 piece Point 88 set. The colors basically match the color of the hat. The handle is easy to hold and manipulate. I have used them for small drawings and they are great for feathering and blurring when used in conjunction with Pigma Microns. I've tested them on several art papers and with several water activation brushes. They work very well on Strathmore 400 Smooth Bristol unless you plan on using a water brush. If you want a blur effect, the…

Stabillo markers are bright and beautiful!

I'm a big fan of Stabillo products. I bought #88 pens, #68 pens, and a set of pastels. They all work well and have excellent pigments. That makes my work really popular. If I have an image that I want to color in a book on thin paper, I remove it as carefully as possible and use a copier to print it onto heavier paper like cardstock or watercolor paper. So I don't have to worry about the paper leaking, warping, or tearing from ink moisture. Other markers I like are Papermate (they don't often…
