Staedtler Technical 977 115 02 Review

I use my template often, but sometimes I keep it in my shirt pocket. Eventually it will start to break in one of the circles and then it's only a matter of time before it breaks completely. I wish they sold one in stainless steel.

Bumps on the underside of the stencil that may prevent the stencil from touching the ink paper. Unfortunately they cause very serious parallax problems and cause the stencil to deflect when you press to hold it in place. It also has an unnatural semi-gloss texture that doesn't hold up well with either hands or paper. I didn't expect these design changes (actually flaws) to be present. This was very disappointing, especially for an instrument called the Staedtler.

Every customer should be aware that what is shown on the product image is not what is actually delivered. I bought it thinking of a 3 piece set as shown in the picture. To my surprise, AMAZOM only delivered one device with the designation STD 977115. It is illegal and dishonest to use such a strategy to attract the attention of potential buyers. Please be aware of such strategies and check the descriptions carefully before ordering. Although the product itself is very good!

Measures approx. 3 1/8" x 5 5/8". I love the two bracket cutouts at the ends because I can't freehand draw curly brackets to save my life! Smaller curly braces at the bottom would be great. I know the bumps on the back of the stencil are there to lift it off the surface of the paper to prevent ink smudging, but gosh they are HUGE.
