Great fix for a header leak.

simple and clear, they work. My original manifold bolts kept loosening due to vibration, I have had no exhaust leaks from the manifolds since installation.

Step 8 is great!

I use them all the time and keep spares on hand for other applications, some manifold designs make installation difficult due to gap issues but overall a great product.

Title and details are worth every penny

A problem with one of my titles has been seriously fixed. Before installing, I retorqued my old manifold bolts once a week, they kept vibrating. I finally saved some money for them and damn I wish I had had them a few months ago!

Bolt Length: Exhaust and Emissions

I used to order head bolts which are usually marked as lug length. So I thought they had a 3/4" overhang, but they are only 3/4" long. They didn't fit my application and the screw head size was quite small.

Ditch those standard bolts and get these

A very good kit that keeps the bolts from falling out. I highly recommend running the motor a few times and tightening as needed BEFORE installing the clamps. I had to take them apart 3 times because the gasket I used shrunk with thermal expansion. I used folded metal spacers. Now that everything is done, they do their job as intended.

Cap screws have a habit of working themselves loose and snapping is not always a good solution. Level 8 stop bolts solved my problem with the manifold bolts. They were easy to install, even if they had to be modified to fit short collectors in tight spaces. Since the installation I have not had to tighten any of the manifold bolts on my Ford 392, I can only recommend them.
