Excellent stand for desktop use of the microphone. Using a shock absorber, the stand is a heavy, solid construction that doesn't wobble. Sturdy, with a short mounting nipple that can keep the microphone as low as possible on the table so the webcam can't see it. Perfect, better than using an adjustable lever.

Picked up a couple to use as a moving base for single bulb gooseneck lights (with a small softbox) for video recording. VERY pleasantly surprised by the weight and stability of these coasters. What surprised me most was that the threaded portion of the whistle is actually all metal. Very stable. Good product, will buy more if needed.

I had issues where my mic was too heavy which resulted in my mic boom not standing properly and just kept falling off. The problem was solved simply by purchasing this desktop microphone stand. So if you're planning a heavy mic setup with foam surround panels and pop filters, this stand might be worth buying. Unless you have a premium, heavy-duty mic stand, which I don't have.

Just what I needed and the right height. One of the few things I've ordered from Revain that actually looked like it was described. The packaging that usually comes with the kit does not support the weight of the base, but the contents of the packaging have not been damaged. It is what it is. Good, solid product, delivered quickly, with pomp and poise. Good.
