Nothing to say, he's doing his job.

I mounted it to my desk by attaching it to the On-Stage Angle Extension which attaches to a mini boom with a 6" gooseneck and a Shure vocal mic. Perfectly durable. I want the boom to be just as good. I reviewed this a while ago.

Works for my needs!

I recommend this product. I also like that they put a soft pad on top so it doesn't sit directly on a desk or flat surface. This of course helps to reduce vibrations in the microphone and in your recordings. I literally just screwed it to the wood surface through this towel on my desk. It works great with this gooseneck I found at Revain. Glad you have it!

Screws not included

I gave three stars because no screws are included. It seems like a small thing for her. I'm deducting 1 star for not including them and another for trying to find the correct screws. For now I'm using drywall screws, which are a little tight but good enough. The item is well made. It works with my On-Stage mic stand I bought from Guitar City and the On-Stage flexible neck I bought from Revain.

garbage goods. do not disturb

I think 0 stars is not an option! I ordered 6 pieces complete with microphone stands. They are not threaded/sized correctly. The first one I screwed onto the On-Stage MSA9505 Posi-Lok mini-boom telescoping mic would not tighten. Turn only. This then happened to another, etc. I ended up drilling holes in all of them and putting a screw through the two pieces to hold them together tightly. Bad production or outsourcing. As if the flange is a hair smaller than it should be. Coming from the sameโ€ฆ

Reliable Hardware Microphones and Accessories

I ordered this item as a base for Atlas Sound GN-19E - Gooseneck Mic Mount - Ebony Mic Stand for use with my laptop DJ rig. Instead of mounting it on a stationary object like a desk or desk, I took a sheet of 1/4" thick fiberboard, some shiny aluminum contact paper and cut out a custom base. I covered it with contact paper, then drilled holes and used a couple of 10's /32 flush screws with lock washers and nuts to attach the base to the fiberboard It looks great and works very well Microphoneโ€ฆ

Forget shock absorbers in brackets

That's all you need. I live next to a busy freeway and there is a lot of vibration throughout the house. I was thinking of an expensive shock but found a gooseneck fit my needs best so got this mount and couldn't be happier. This setup is used for podcasting and I attached the mount directly to the side of the desk. Everything works phenomenally. I am very happy with the facility. The gooseneck I'm using is from Atlas Sound: Use the Samson multi-pattern condenser USB microphone with the freeโ€ฆ
