Does its job in Computer Accessories and Peripherals

This is not a fancy drive case. It comes disassembled, so it will take you 5-10 minutes to assemble it. It's not heavy and even comes with a small screwdriver. The disc guides are plastic but should work with most discs. Mine fits in a Rosewill case - a bit tight but fits well. There is also room for a fan in the front of the cage. I ordered one and will be installing it soon. It has space for 5 3.5 inch drives. Price is good, no complaints.

Only fits 4 drives in hard drive case

Cons: The information in the product description and the photos show that 5 drives fit comfortably in this basket. After assembly, only 4 standard 3.5-inch SATA drives could be placed in the basket. There simply isn't room for a fifth due to the location of the slots in the cage walls. Pros: The parts are made of durable metal. without sharp edges, which is nice plastic sliding guides.

What you need to build your own machine

I've been building computers for over 20 years and I immediately recognize a good product and this is a really good rack for multiple hard drives. You can handle it without needing a blood transfusion (always a good sign), which means they've taken the time to smooth the edges a bit, it's easy to put together, and the extra support for adding a fan makes it exceptionally good made makes. to prolong the life of your drives as heat is the biggest killer of every component in your computer. Nice BUT ONLY FULL OF FOUR DISCS as mentioned in other reviews.

ONLY FOUR DRIVES. The way it was made looks like whoever designed it didn't realize that to fit 5 drives in the case with the included mounting brackets, the cutouts and screw holes need to be properly offset I am not surprised that there is no picture showing a cage with all 5 hard drives installed. However, there is no way to install five standard 3.5" SATA drives unless they are just loosely stacked on top of each other. It's kind of a shame and I wouldn't be disappointed if only 4 drives*…
