Description of 🔍 Stainless Steel Center Finder - Peachtree Woodworking

When trying to find the center on rectangular, square or even round objects it can sometimes be challenging at best. While you could always measure the length, divide the number in half then measure to that point and mark it, why waste that valuable time. The handy center finder ruler makes it super quick and super easy without having to do any math to find center. The exact center is clearly marked with a circle and a fine point arrow to make it easy to see. To use the ruler, simply line the ruler up so that the increments are the same on both outside edges of the object your are measuring. Make your mark at the center point and there you have it! It literally takes seconds to find center with this super easy to use ruler. The ruler is made 1mm thick stainless steel and flexes just the right amount for most any project while still remaining rigid enough so its not flopping all over when in use. Starting from “0” in the middle of the ruler, the scale is in 32nds. The ruler may also be used as a standard type ruler with the 16th scale on the bottom side. This makes the center finder ruler even more versatile. The Center Finding Ruler is available in 12” and 24” sizes, which are both sold separately.

Measure to Zero for Measure and Markup Tools

I didn't expect this line to be so big. This is the best line I've ever bought. It's engraved, meaning the scale won't rub off. The only drawback for me are the sharp edges. I suspect they forgot to smooth the edges after punching the workpiece. A little fine sandpaper solves this problem.

Pros
  • When trying to find the center of rectangular, square, or even circular objects, it can sometimes be difficult at best. While you can always measure the length, divide the number in half, then measure to that point and mark it, why waste precious time.
Cons
  • unreliable

Great ruler! best in measurement and layout tools

I bought this for myself to have a little more than a 12 inch ruler for my craft projects. Then my husband saw it and now it sits in our garage for our woodworking projects. Though I'm not too upset. This is a great ruler. Easy to use and seems very durable. We really like the central search function on the one hand!

Pros
  • The ruler can also be used as a standard ruler with a 16th scale on the bottom. This makes the midline even more versatile. The Center Finder Ruler is available in 12" and 24" sizes and sold separately.
Cons
  • Can't remember

Good for the price of rulers

Overall I don't hate this product. It's just not the quality you would expect from this type of product. For one thing, the build quality leaves a lot to be desired. If you hold a ruler, the edges will appear very rough. I think if you ran your hand over it you would definitely cut yourself. The 0 mark starts quite far from the edge. It just seems awkward when you're trying to measure something because you don't have a natural edge. Labels go right-to-left, not left-to-right. Again, it just…

Pros
  • To use a ruler, simply align the ruler so that the increments on both outside edges of the object to be measured are the same. Make a mark at the midpoint and there it is! Finding the center literally takes seconds with this very easy to use ruler.
Cons
  • Was damaged

Well calibrated, jagged edges.

The centering rule is good and I use it quite often. However, I'm used to squares and Starrett's rules. It's not worth what Starrett makes and it's the highest quality. It is made of stainless steel, has a 24" to 1/16" scale from 1 to 24" on one edge and 12-0-12 on the other edge. The thickness is much less than the fluted "square". " Scale. , flexible. The edges are not very well finished. It looks like it was stamped in a good stamp. The edge is not a cutting edge - you won't cut your fingers

Pros
  • The ruler can also be used as a standard ruler with a 16th scale on the underside. This makes the midline even more versatile. The Center Finder Ruler is available in 12" and 24" sizes and sold separately.
Cons
  • I have some doubts

A 24 inch ruler that is legible but not perfect.

The biggest problem with this is that the back is completely blank. I only see another whole area that could be used for marking, but it's completely empty. be flat, not too thin and not too fat. We'll see how the markings hold up, but so far they seem good and easy to read for my aging eyes. I should note that it wasn't advertised as double sided, but after that this got me thinking why not. It's nice to have markings to identify the center. What's not so great is that you can't start the…

Pros
  • With the handy middle ruler, you can find the middle quickly and easily without any mathematical calculations. The exact center is clearly marked with a circle.
Cons
  • Only available in white
