Cuts well and correct diameter but only 3 TIG welds each, took it to local shop for smaller piece to weld completely, otherwise it will surely fail.

I put it on a racing muffler, it fits snugly, perfectly, but I can't even notice a noise reduction. I asked a few people for their opinion and they all said the same thing: the difference in sound is negligible.

The figure was terrible and left quite a gap when fitted. It sounded very raspy and not much quieter, but I used exhaust putty to seal everything and it worked. Also, the first batch was lost and they sent a replacement.

I recently installed a high performance exhaust system with a 1-5/8" muffler that restricted exhaust flow so badly the car couldn't 'run'. Installing this 2- inch muffler prevents choking from the exhaust while still keeping exhaust volume under control.

Lasted only 1 month. Introductory tube MIA. Must have burst because of bad welds? Too much heat? I'm not sure but I got this muffler 1 month and 6 days ago and today I noticed that there is no inner pipe. The first installation worked without any problems. Can't give more stars as it broke after a month.

This helped remove some annoying loud bass from the exhaust noise but did not significantly change the overall decibel level. My muffler had a large gap in diameter. I wrapped a 1/2 inch strip of muffler repair tape around the edge to ensure a tight fit in the muffler.

I bought this to quiet the 4" exhaust on an LS engine, the system was making an awful buzz even at idle! difference, but with a little work it can be great. The first thing I did was try it on and it fit perfectly on the ID of my 4" exhaust. Then I noticed that the 4 tiny weld spots holding the two pieces together tended to break, so I welded 4 large beads around them.
