Great spice ball, best for coffee, tea and espresso

This spice ball holds lots of herbs and the holes are small so the herbs don't fall out while cooking. I love cooking with rosemary, but it can fall apart and get into food, but that keeps it in the ball.

Pros
  • coffee, tea and espresso
Cons
  • Durable

Defective and cheap item in a 99 cent store

Poor quality but 10 times what you would pay for a similar item in a 99 cent store. Both balls have a broken net and the apex is not centered. Not worth the price.

Pros
  • Tea strainers and filters
Cons
  • No form required

Not for thinner herbal tea and lid does not hold

you miss a lot of my robio and honeybush. I like the size but the lids don't always stay in place and sometimes spill into my pan but when I see myself straining anyway it's not the end of the world. If you don't like doing extra work for yourself, I wouldn't recommend it.

Pros
  • tea accessories
Cons
  • can hurt

You get what you paid for.

They are strong and seem good enough for spices in the soup etc. My problem is the chain holding it in the pan. It's tiny, so it doesn't even hang in the broth. Also, the metal clip fell off and ended up in the soup. Which luckily I found before anyone swallowed it. Throw it away so it doesn't happen again. I was able to easily detach the tiny chain to avoid problems after seeing that they weren't meant for real use.

Pros
  • Strainer for tea balls
Cons
  • Too long to wait
