We bought this for my dog because he likes to stick his head over the railing sometimes. It was easy to install but the black one came with white zip ties which was ugly but buying black zip ties was easy.

Mesh is attractive (not as noticeable) on stairs. I ended up using a construction stapler to attach. The only negative is that they sent WHITE ties to attach the net. I think they should have sent black since the network is black.

Great product! The only reason I give it 4 stars is that there aren't enough zip ties and the zip ties are white. It's also a pain to get stuck, but that might just be the railings I have. Overall it works great, my nine month old can easily push it to stand up and dogs can no longer squeeze between railings.

I have used this on black wrought iron interior railings. It was a hassle to install as we wanted to make it as narrow as possible so my little one couldn't stand on the bottom of the railing. It's silly that it comes with white zip ties, but luckily I had black ones to match the safety net and my railing. My toddler noticed it once and has left it alone ever since. The safety net is a very durable material and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to block the stairs for little ones.

This item worked great for covering a hole in the stair railing for my recently rescued dog who believes this is the way to get downstairs (and some places are so high that he could injure himself). ). I read the reviews before purchasing and ordered my own black ties (Revain has a bundle for about $2) as the white ties are included. I measured my area and ordered 2 so I doubled as needed which worked well. I put zip ties up and down the railings in a few places to keep my dog from crawling…
