The texture is a bit off for what I wanted - the holes are very small. Still, it's a good template, if not quite what I was hoping for.

Tim Holtz's stencils are a great addition to my art studio - I've used them in 2D art projects and also plan to use them with clay to push through the slip and create a textured pattern. They're also large - nearly 8" x 4" surface patterns.

I use acrylic and oil paints with good results applied with stencil brushes or thin makeup sponges for a finer finish. Modern patterns are hard to come by and this dot screen looks super cool with graffiti, photographs or mid-century designs. It would be impossible to cut such delicate patterns yourself. Easy to clean, thin plastic.
