Great for texture effects

I love this stencil for texture effects in my craft. Easy to clean with soap and water. Stored flat or on a hook using templates. Recommended for artists of all ages.

Doesn't look like burlap to me

I saw the design on my laptop when I ordered it. I couldn't enlarge the picture at the time, I used the name as a guide. If I had seen it on my phone I would not have ordered. To me it looks more like old, discarded snakeskin than burlap.

Pros
  • Very good price

I really like these little templates

I really like these little templates. Easy to maneuver for use and cleaning. It has a wobbly area that makes it a bit difficult to clean, and it always bends. Apart from that I love it. You can be sure if it says Tim Holtz, then that's good.

Pros
  • arts and craft supplies
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Cool pattern

This stencil has such a cool pattern - and the holes are actually larger than expected, which contrasts nicely with the 'warps' or vertical 'threads' of the pattern. I painted it on white paper with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Walnut Stain and it's absolutely gorgeous.

Pros
  • Sketch
Cons
  • Not sure

The textured burlap stencil is great for mixed media art projects!

Tim Holtz's stencils are a great addition to my art studio - I've used them in 2D projects and plan to use them with clay to push through the slip and create a textured pattern create. They're also large - nearly 8" x 4" surface patterns.

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • Some Mistakes
