Worked great on my 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan

Worked great on my 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan. Saved me a lot of money I'm sure. It was a little tricky to install, but I simply snapped off a small piece of the grille's plastic mesh and then secured it to the grille with a zip-tie. I just left the old one in and plugged in the new one. Worked as the champ.error code was gone!

Works in part

2006 Town & Country. The air conditioning didn't work. I noticed that the ambient temp was 40 when it was 80. It was difficult to find the sensor as it was behind the front bumper which is in the area covered by the plastic cover. I couldn't see it, but I reached through the slot in the bumper and groped for the old block that must have been dragged across the floor since it was almost gone. Insert a new block, the temperature shows 80 and the air conditioning works again. Cheapest air…

Exact Replacement - 2009 Grand Caravan

Old block reads randomly from 111 to 129 degrees Fahrenheit. on a 76 degree day. I haven't received my code in a week. This replacement corresponded exactly to the defective device. It took longer to FIND the old sensor than to replace it. My sensor was on a perforated plastic screen covering the bottom of the radiator about 1 inch from the edge, on the driver's side, and attached to the fixed edge with a "push" fastener. Good value for money.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Tradable

Didn't work on the 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan

The pins on the connector end of the sensor were smaller and the shape of the connector end wasn't exactly the same as my wife's 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan didn't work. good connection. Purchase a sensor from your local auto parts store with a properly shaped plug and large pins for a snug/proper fit. The end of the fork was too oval and should have been more square with rounded corners. At least the air temperature is now read correctly and the air conditioning works again, but it's not because…

Correct Temperature Sensor for EVIC/OTIS on 02 Liberty

If you have one of the "Premium" options for your 2002 Jeep Liberty such as power windows, sunroof or sound system, you have the connector and wiring already installed for the external temperature sensor. Unless, like me, you had a sunroof and a dedicated trip computer package, you had no reason to buy one. until you bought your EVIC/OTIS device from a site that rhymes with Pee Bay (let's face it, the retail price of nearly $500 is outrageous). It fits perfectly into the existing connection. I…
