Had to buy it because I broke mine while restoring it.

had to buy this because I broke mine while rebuilding my engine, rookie mistake. Can't beat the price. it has a solid construction and works for several months without any problems. 2000 Honda Accord lx 4cl

Pros
  • Product packaging height is 8.02 inches
Cons

The knock sensor didn't work on my '99 Accord.

My 99 Accord LX didn't have a knock sensor. First, the pen was bent when I received it. There was no other damage so I don't know if anyone returned it or tried to resell it. Second, the pin that connects to the connector is twice as long as the OEM. After trying to align and assemble everything, the clip on the connector would not snap into place. I couldn't risk the plug coming out so I have to send it back. Also, the size of the screw is twice the normal one. Do yourself a favor and just get

Pros
  • Pack length 19.49 inches
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived

So far, so good. Best in Detonation

The sensor I paid $140 for at a reputable parts store two years ago failed again. I have read many reviews about it, from cheap to well-known brands over $100. Decided to give it a try. Hooked it up to my '99 Accord myself (after a trip to Sears for the correct socket size), disconnected the negative battery cable for a few minutes to clear the code and monitors, and ta-da stopped checking for engine light problems. I've been driving my car for three days now to reset my monitors and the lights

Pros
  • Product packaging width is 11.38 inches
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
