Faulty Automotive Sensor Disappoints

This product failed to meet my expectations as an automotive sensor replacement. The cons outweighed the pros in my experience, with the sensor being prone to malfunctioning and causing my vehicle to experience erratic behavior on several occasions. While the price for the product may be attractive, it's simply not worth the risk.

Pros
  • High-quality and durable construction
Cons
  • Priced higher than some competitor options

Weak magnetic field

The only thing I liked was the timely delivery. Unfortunately, this part didn't work for my application. The magnet on this part is too weak to receive the signal needed to start the vehicle properly. This part was made for a 1991-1992 Jeep Cherokee. I had to go back to the original part that I had replaced. Recommend using OEM products for 4.0.

CPS on a 1992 Jeep Cherokee

Bought as a spare for a spare my dog ate (long story). I had trouble starting shortly after purchase so I replaced my existing one with this new one and it seems to start fine again. I don't know how long this will last (they say non real CPs don't last very long) but it's been a few months now with no problems.
