So far so good

Direct exchange, no problems so far, this sensor replaces a monthly crankshaft sensor I bought from a local auto parts store that had failed

High quality sensor! Must buy!

Top quality product and helped clear my code for a faulty crankshaft sensor on a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT V6. Worth seeing and buying.

Once found at Parts

Once found it's not bad. Remove starter heat shield Add engine oil to all 10mm bolts and nuts to lubricate the o-ring. Kia Optima v6 smooth again, 176,000 miles

Good quality for parts

Very good quality good and strong heat shrink for wires. Now the car starts, the other one melted from the exhaust manifold. I would advise fitting a heat shield as it is right next to the exhaust.

Worked on 2007 Hyundai Tucson

2007 Tucson had intermittent problems starting the 2.7 liter engine. Came code for CPS. Replaced it with this one and the car started straight away and has been running fine for a few weeks now.

Failed in less than 11 months! I would avoid

This Crankshaft Position Sensor on 03/19. installed - on 20.01. failed. While not expensive, they can get stuck and very difficult to install. Of course, the installation would have been just as complicated with every replacement, but I just bought a new part from the dealer. Again. last less than a year.

Cheap sensors don't work well.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I replaced the old sensor with this one, on first start the car started very hard. Tried again, same result. I realized I had never cleared the CEL so I did, tried again but this time the car wouldn't start at all. He took out the "new" sensor, swapped it out for the old one and the car started straight away, no problems. NOT RECOMMENDED!
