Lasted 3 months and the problem and problem came back

Worked great - 3 months and now my car is stalling again, no power and has the same code as before when me the sensor was said replacement. I can't find where to ask the seller if I can exchange it so I have to leave a review instead.

Pros
  • High score for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some errors

Easy and direct installation

Easy direct installation. After installing the sensor, I turned off the check engine light and went for a test drive. After a few miles the check engine light came on again. I checked the trouble codes and now there were two new camshaft related codes. I deleted those codes again and a few days went by and no new codes showed up.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

Works but not very well at camshaft position

My G35 has stalled twice and I got error code P0340 so I decided to replace the camshaft position sensor before it gets worse. It seemed like a good choice and cost just under 1/2 the cost of the original part. It fits well but now my car has trouble starting and doesn't run well at low revs. I'm giving it a week, but like a few other reviewers, I'm pretty sure I need to put a Nissan part in.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • interval

Don't waste your money on this product!

I purchased this camshaft position sensor for my 2006 Nissan Frontier 4.0L V6 (Bank #1) on August 8th 2018 to replace an original sensor that failed after 160,000+ miles. This failed on June 15, 2019 (10 months later) after less than 10,000 miles. The sensor (bank #2) failed in March 2017 after over 150,000 miles. I bought a replacement from O'Reilly Autoparts. Now the truck has 173,000 miles and is running great. That just goes to prove that price isn't always the best choice, so I went back…

Pros
  • Easy to read panel
Cons
  • Quick start guide
