rubbish. I installed it on a rebuilt cylinder head and never took a coolant temp. I got one from my local parts store and within 5 minutes it showed my coolant temp accurately. Completely unsatisfactory.

This is the block that controls the pilot lamp. If you have a meter, this is not the right unit. I needed this guy but I was referring to some of the other comments. If you need that type of sender, this is the best quality I've found. Made in Mexico, not China. Well constructed and comes with Teflon threads.

A lot of negative feedback is related to people trying to use it as a sensor for a temp sensor, but this part number is for a temp sensor with a red temp indicator on the panel. It simply closes an internal switch at around 260F to connect earth to your light. It does not send a resistance signal to the pressure gauge. Revain listed it as a sensor but should be a switch.

It was supposed to be the correct block and was almost identical to the old one I took out. However, it was either DOA or the resistor value doesn't match my application. I put the old one back in to check the sensor and wiring and checked the sensor. money not returned.

This TS124 is a sensor that Revane says will fit my '88 Wrangler 4.2. That's the wrong part. Should have been a TS268 which the local Napa correctly identified and sold to me. They need to fix their parts catalogues. Also, this part had infinite resistance when tested with the PTO. Since this is a 1 wire sensor I don't think it could be right so I think it was a bad block right out of the box. It definitely wouldn't work with my Wrangler sensors.
