2005 Ford Taurus SE Vulcan V6 (VIN 2)

This vehicle is powered by a 2005 Ford Taurus SE Vulcan V6 flex-fuel engine (VIN 2) and has the Motorcraft number EV273. Note that there is a heated version and a non-heated version. As they are easy to find I always recommend checking first before ordering so you don't end up with the wrong part!

Pros
  • Automobile
Cons
  • Modernity

Does the Job - PCV Valves, Breathers and Accessories

My wife's car in her 2009 Ford Fusion 3.0L had about a quart of oil left every 2000 miles. I usually only clean the PCV valve, but the car has done 83,000 miles and still has the original valve. Decided to go ahead and replace it. This was the cheapest I could find anywhere. It's been in her car for 5,000 miles and the oil consumption has been virtually eliminated. Maybe 1/2 liter in those 5000 miles now.

Pros
  • PCV Valves
Cons
  • Updates Available
