A Cut Above Knife

They last and sharpen longer than standard blades, but not by much. I only use them for knives that take a long time to change blades. If these blades really did last as long as the price is high, I would use them for everything. I'm glad to have them, just not for all owners.

Pros
  • Tough surface
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Sharp and durable

They are very sharp and cut everything so smooth. I've used them on EVA foam and the blade is like butter. I've used it on other materials too and it's still very sharp. The best part is that the tip stays sharp for a very long time. Because you use the tip more than any other part of the blade it tends to dull quickly, but I've cut through quite a bit and it still stays sharp.

Not very sharp in hand tools

Bought these in advance to cut a lot of carpet. I had a box of regular blades. I found regular blades were sharper than these blades and lasted longer. These fade very quickly. Judging by the number of cuts I've made (mainly 400 sq ft cut into small pieces) it was pretty obvious that they didn't start as abruptly and didn't last as long - I stopped using them.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Fine

Absolutely rust free so far.

Excellent blades. No rust yet. I use them in a small pocket knife. I carry them with me instead of a pocket knife because it's much easier to hold a sharp blade. First, they are a little thick. If your box opener uses very thin blades, you may need a little work to fix them. I had a blade in about a week and am not good with blades. Still sharp and no rust

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Repair

Good razor blades that last longer than regular razor blades. A-

I like most Stanleys products, these are no different. Carbide blades last longer than traditional blades, usually significantly. I just like the ones with titanium better. Depending on what's shrinking, this is a good buy. If you're just cutting something just use the cheap 100 packs, but unless you need to cut dirty rock or concrete and such I buy them every time.

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • Not performing

Very sharp and so far durable.

Very sharp right out the door. I'm still on the first blade in the pack; as long as there is no noticeable difference in both the quality of the cut and the sharpness of the edge. That's been the case for about two months now, which is impressive. In terms of usage, due to a move in two months, the knife cut through 521 boxes (we had to count the boxes to get a quote from a moving company). Not exactly heavy duty, but a good deal of work for a single blade used by a handyman.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Really sharp and durable

I bought these a long time ago and never got around to using them until my old stash of cheap blades ran out. I use a utility knife all the time at work and have always assumed they are all the same. NOT RIGHT. It's like John Wick of utility knives. Oh my God. Cutting tape and cardboard has never been so much fun between the blades for so long. I used to have maybe a month of light use on both sides of a blade. It's been about 3 weeks and I haven't had to flip carbine yet - and I don't think I…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Some bugs

Better than Lenox Gold IMO

5 stars. I bought 10 of these and after 3 weeks of use I'm still on the first blade. Much better than Lenovo Gold. Also these workpros are my EDC. I carry one of these in my left pocket for EDC tasks with damn sharp carbide blades. I carry a Spyderco Yojimbo 2 in my right pocket for self defense only. feels good man. Buy these blades and buy workpros. Heck, you can get 3 of these for $17.99 here. they rock. Put it in the little pocket in your jeans. Now back to the blades, yes. I've tried many…

Ideal for power tools and hand tools

I bought these over a year ago. I regularly cut cardboard boxes for work every day, some contain metal cans that my blade comes into contact with while cutting. Sometimes I also have to cut strong plastic straps. In the same year I broke the tip of one of the blades on the can. Flipped it, used it until a few months ago I noticed a tiny little chip at the top of the other side; After that I finally picked up a brand new second blade and I'm still using the original side. They break on something

Pros
  • Heavy duty construction
Cons
  • Not automatic
