Star Range Insert Small Brown Review

For the price, this pistol mat is great value for money! I have both black and brown models. The tag may or may not say NCStar, but they are the same. The zipper is at least a #8 reel with solid hardware. The construction finish is rough - open and melted ends of the zip spools - but it works and I have nothing to worry about. The padding is also quite thick.

This pistol holster insert is very good value and fits nicely in my Explorer Range Bag. It's small as advertised. Big enough for a compact pistol like a pocket pistol or Glock 19. It's NOT big enough for a 1911 or Commander, Large Magnum or Desert Eagle. I wish it had an Olive Drab Green option.

The very high quality canvas material on the outside and the excellent padding of this case make it the perfect addition to your bag. My Glock 19 is pictured to show you where it fits. You can see how it fits in the inner pockets of the bc star competition bag. Definitely recommend this product.

These bags are not expensive, but they do their job very well. I put them in a VISM Competition Range Bag and they fit perfectly. The zippers are large, work smoothly, all seams are sewn well. They open to the hem so they can lie flat. They are roomy enough to hold full-size pistols with 5.5" barrels.
