Unfortunately a disappointment. At first the tin can had a large dent on the side. Then the dial became so dark that the numbers were barely legible. As it was a gift for a seven year old I sent it back and got a different watch. The box it was sent in was fine and there was a lot of padding around it so the damage was there before it was shipped.

Not a bad watch. The dial is darker than it appears, of course there's no interior lighting and the numbers don't glow in the dark. After 3 weeks the red color on the bandage comes off along with the black color around the face. Another note, the strap is a bit big for a child. My 6 year old can wear it with lots of extra tape. It fits my adult wrist better than his.

As I said, this is a children's watch, it is what it is. Won't take more than time to grow out of it. The red ribbon inserts sometimes fall out, but are easily reinserted so that they fall out. Not the easiest watch face to read, but it's for a kid and they're still learning a bit about the traditional watch/face in this digital world, so it's not a big deal. I wish the band was a bit longer but that seems standard.
