High quality Starrett ruler. I was surprised that it's narrower than my old Starrett 6" ruler or their 12" ruler. However, the narrower width makes it easier to use with one hand.

When I received this 6 inch ruler I carefully inspected it for any imperfections that I could not find. The only reason I replaced my old one with this new one is because the dial markings on the old one have worn to the point of being unusable after over twenty years of daily use.
