📐 Hardened Combination Protractors – Starrett H33 1224 Review

I'm glad I bought it for $79. Most sellers sell it for $91 and have terrible shipping times. I went ahead and bought it along with the $56 chrome finish line, so not only did I save money building my own combo square, but I made sure every part was in pristine condition and not stuck together when shipped bumped. .I removed the marker tool as I don't intend to use it because I always carry a pencil with me when I work around the house. bought this because it has a great head. I have a Starrett cast iron head that I left in my shed for a year or two and it's still good but now it's covered in rust. While this is sufficient for my home use, I needed space on the combo station to work.

Very disappointed with this tool. I dropped my 30 year old square and broke the clip and one of the corners. It was cast iron, as smooth as can be. The replacement is no better than the $10 magazine block. I thought based on the price and description I would get the same quality and molded material but sadly very disappointed.
