Extension cord ideal for intended use

exactly as described. Fast ship. Arrived in perfect order. Highly recommended if you need this type of cable. I used it to extend the reach of the factory cable that came with an old working Bose Acoustimass surround sound system. Just the thing for the correct positioning of the bass unit.

Pros
  • black
Cons
  • not as thick as other picks

Perfect for extending Logitech speakers like the Z506

I bought this cable to extend the cable from the 'master' speaker in my Logitech 5.1 surround sound kit. Although I don't have a Z506 system, but one with a single speaker in the center channel, I'm sure the connection is the same. The "Master" speaker has a proprietary 9-pin cable that is only about 6 feet long. This cable is perfect for allowing me to bring the "master" speaker to the farthest corner of my room and everything works flawlessly.

Pros
  • Serial extension cable
Cons
  • High price

After all! A way to make something longer for $10 is not a scam!

When I bought a surround sound system for my bedroom and wanted to put the subwoofer where it was supposed to be and the satellite speakers where they were supposed to be, I ran into a problem by many men in the bedroom these days. Sometimes there just isn't enough time to put it where you really want it. Of course I could return the box, but I thought I'd try a workaround. I noticed that the connector on the back of my woofer is nothing more than a standard 9-pin serial connector. I checked…

Pros
  • High quality cable shielding prevents EMI
Cons
  • Available in white only
