StarTech Com Keyboard Mouse Extension Cable Review

Using this product, our team found that it caused significant lag time when trying to use the mouse and keyboard. It was frustrating to work with and barely extended the length of our cables. The only positive was its reasonable price. Overall, we do not recommend this product for anyone looking for a reliable extension cable for their computer accessories.

The cable seems fine. I wanted to use it as an extension for my Altec Lansing speakers/subwoofers. After the expansion, the voices came out of the subwoofer instead of the main speakers. I first noticed that the plug body was pressing against the lower body and might not allow the plug to go all the way in. I used a razor blade to trim the body but that didn't help. For these wonderful speakers I needed an extension cable between the satellite control and the bass/amp module. This is a DIN connector, although the standard is very rare. It worked great.
