High quality equipment. Cables and Connections

Working properly. The final piece of the puzzle to get my new laptop to recognize two external monitors. Much better build quality than box stores.

Excellent picture. Fits Video Cables

Used to add a second monitor to my iMac (Late 2015). No additional adapter required, it plugged directly into my second monitor's HDMI port and worked straight away. Good thick cable, I think that's enough.

If you're using an older Mac with dual monitors and don't have one.

As a result, older Macs don't allow dual monitors in most hubs when the lid is closed. NO SIGNAL messages are normally displayed periodically. Don't quote me but I don't think there is support for two 4Ks so I've always found I need to run one of those and then I get full functionality and can close the lid too. . StarTech makes phenomenal Mac hardware and they've never let me down.

Worked great!: HDMI cable

Got a new TCL Roku TV to use as a monitor for my old Mac Mini. When using HDMI-HDMI, text looked terrible on macOS. Bought it after some research. Thunderbolt (mini-Displayport) to HDMI and a few tweaks and now it looks amazing again! It works as advertised.

I bought other Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapters as well.

I've bought other working Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapters, but you may have to unplug and plug them back in a few times before they work. I was a curmudgeon. The StarTech adapter works the first time, every time. If you want to add an additional monitor to your iMac using the Thunberbolt 2 connector, you need this adapter. I have many StarTech products and have never had a problem with them. So when I needed something that I knew would work, I bought StarTech.
