Fast, compatible - others weren't

Many USB SSD enclosures use a different brand of controller chip that is incompatible with some USB hosts. StarTech isn't the cheapest, but don't waste your money on others - they may not work. And it's FAST!

Computer accessories and peripherals are worth every penny

Received my Star Tech unit today and put it together in 20 minutes. When I plugged it into my computer and clicked on the external D: drive, I was prompted to enter the 48-digit Bitlock key. I was so excited I couldn't think. It took me another 4 hours to find this key in my online microsoft account. I then had to watch another youtube video to find my files on a hard drive I had deleted from my old computer (I did that too). Once I found them, it only took 2 minutes for the Star Tech device to

Bought this for an extra NVME card when I was upgrading my laptop. The StarTech case has a very high quality finish. I only considered 4 stars because when it arrived the lid was VERY difficult to remove with the included T-driver. Too small. The cover screws were very tight. After finding the correct driver in my toolbox I was able to remove 4 screws and assemble it with my spare nvme card. Windows 10 recognized the device as a USB drive and I formatted it. Product won't open SCREW POOR QUALITY

I recently bought a gaming laptop and was glad to get it for the m.2 I currently own so I can keep my games between my gaming -Laptop and can transfer desk. However, when I first received the package, I was surprised that it even came with its own screwdriver for installation. I loved it until I tried it.
